London-Gatwick

It was early in the morning, she had not slept at all because she was scared not to wake up in the morning to get the train towards the airport on-time. She felt crap and shit.

She was now sitting in the train, and just looked out from the window : a huge amount of people had got off the train, and were walking like ands towards the exit of London Bridge Station. She hoped she would never look so dull when, one day, she would be walking towards her work. She felt sorry for them. Maybe they were going through a difficult moment of their lives, maybe they had lost someone important, maybe they did not like their jobs... or maybe they where just dull and did not love life enough to smile? She felt nasty thinking all of this things, but she usually was quite enthusiastic person. She knew she sometimes, and maybe often had "dull-days" too... but how can such a big amount of people have a "dull-day", the same sad walk and grey face on the same morning? Whatever... thoughts just kept going through her mind... on an off...like a light-bomb when it doesn't work well, or it is loosing its power.

She did not feel tired...but she felt worse than a hangover. No sleep, to much coffee, and a big amount of paracetamol in the last two days.

The train was moving...The sky was so fucking grey... The trees were naked... Winter was al ready there... embracing the entire city of rain, the city of culture, the city of business, of formality and informality, of black and white and colors... The City. And that City, which was not that one but the one, was London.

Dreams do come true. If you get the opportunity, fight for them.

The train kept on going, faster and slower. Dark grey turned into light one. The day was rising and I can imagine, the sun behinds all those clouds... All of the sudden that annoying voice " We are now approaching East Croydon, Please mind the gap between the platform and the train"... You could here it everywhere, in trains, in buses, in the tube, in the elevators... everywhere... It probably had saved many lives, if they repeated so much everywhere... but it was actually quite annoying and distracting...

The train stopped, some people popped on , some off... A horrible looking man went by... another one just yarned terribly... And I wondered what did people think about me when they saw me...

I went back to my meditation about what surrounded me. Now the sky had turned lavender many white houses, with black roofs and smoking chymneis where all around... some windows had their lights on ... some others had christmas decorations...A castle or a church in the middle... " I might go there one day and visit this place"...
"shit I feel like vomiting"... No she did not. Just breath, relax and have a sip of water.

All of a sudden the sky on her left was turning orange...and pale pink... and bright one too. Amazing and beautiful. Stunning.

She was going to miss all of this so badly.

And the airport was closer and closer.

And she was SMILING, and she was living a happy moment.
